Some people export these teams and create others to go along with them and play in a season mode or association. Especially on the PC. Also some enjoy having playoffs with all the greatest team vs one another. Using one's imagination there is much more available than quick play.

2k11 was an experience, Same with 2k12... 2k13 was a different experience. In a sense it's almost like Jay Z dudes what to hear my old stuff by my old album. LOL

So as a community just because you don't see or can apply a use for teams input in a certain way doesn't mean they should be removed.

Also once the euro's are in this year in theory that would be one less step in the future to including them in other modes etc. I am not saying that is what will happen but sometimes you have to plan things out over a few years due to the time restrictions. Everyone assumes that the decision to add these teams was made at the beginning of the dev cycle. What if it wasn't ? (pure speculation)

im from israel and a big fan of macabi (euro team that will be on 2k14), and even just for quick game this is huge for me, something i was hoping for a long time. im sure there are many euro fans which feel the same way.

i do realize that for us players this is completely worthless, its really a small feature just for the euro players.

I'm from Europe...and won't care about Euroleague teams at all if 2k completely ignores the way Euro teams play as opposed to the NBA style. Euro ball is all about fundamentals and ball movement, which are things 2k ignored with 2k13 in favor of flashy animations and a Jay-Z name tag. So if they start to care about basketball fundamentals, Euro teams are cool. If 2k14 on the other hand turns out to be another HD version of NBA Jam, it's pretty pointless to include (compared to NBA standards) unathletic Euroleague teams, except as a marketing gimmick.

HAH!

"We also told 2k Insider that there were other teams to update other than the Knicks and Lakers."

Yeah, Maccabi is my favorite Euroleague team, so I'm excited for these teams in 2K14.

Re: NBA 2K14 Euroleague Q&A

Does 2K know how the Football Manager guys get all those ratings for thousands of players across the world? They speak to scouts from across the world. How hard is it then, for 2K to speak to scouts from one country?

The thing is, Sega's main selling point is realism and attention to lots of small details. No flashy graphics, no shoe editor, no Cristiano Ronaldo picking the soundtrack...an accurate representation of real life football is what the game is all about. If their rosters were as p*ss poor as 2ks, no one would even bother looking at FM.

And it's not even like 2k needs a few hundred scouts on their payroll to get rosters right. I mean is it really that hard? So someone came up with a new special skill called "Anti Freeze". It makes a player more consistent, less likely to go on a cold streak.
Nice, now the question is...who should get that skill. And 2k roster guy thinks of..****dy Gay! Makes sense. Dude has been shooting 40% from the field and 32% from 3 last year. Now this guy, in the "insider's" mind, is not only a consistent player, but deserves a special super skill for rarely going on a cold streak...

What should the "insider" even do with advanced stats and extensive scouting reports? He doesn't know sh*t about the most basic things, you know, stuff like "player xy is good at passing". Maybe he doesn't even know all the players in the league, wouldn't surprise me at all.
