I guess I'm easier to please. I am having a blast with this game, and if you were expecting something flawless, then yeah, this probably isn't the game for you.

I don't want flawless. I want a few major simple defects fixed.

I can only comment on myself but I for one never expected a perfect game. I expect to play a good game of football. That entails the basics...especially since this same dev team has had SEVERAL years to PROGRESS this game into what should be a great overall product to end on a high note going into next gen consoles ala nfl2k, NCAA football 05, madden 05...instead NCAA and the haubamiller choagies are literally going mlb2k and doing this "2 steps forward and 3 steps back" routine that is frustrating. They implement this game changer program and I am not even sure EA uses them for other than PR mess. No I don't want a perfect game, just one that fools me into thinking I am actually playing football

Which I certainly understand. I just see a lot more nitpicking towards this series than I do a lot of other sports titles around here. More than anything, I think it's because EA has such an ugly past with sports titles. I don't fault anyone who feels like they can't play the game due to its flaws. That's something thats entirely subjective.

On the other hand, I do think people have been conditioned to expect a ton of flaws. And when that's the case, you're going to have a hard time being OK with the flaws that are there. I just don't want people to be under the false assumption that beloved titles like The Show and NBA 2K don't have their fair share of flaws/bugs either. I play those two titles more than any other sports game, and there's tons of bugs and glitches.

Where NCAA Football falters compared to other series is in its core gameplay. The glitches and bugs are something that come with video games in general. I don't know why people seem to be expecting otherwise.

PS: When I say all of this, I'm excluding the highly annoying fact that a few legacy bugs are still in the game.

Dude I agree and I will be right up front in saying this...graphics are bad and models may be bad, however I can deal with that. That's what roster editors fix and the ones we have here do amazing work. I can even deal with crowd issues...what kills me is we still have special teams issues, and penalty issues, and some other BASIC fundamental football issues that have no business being issues here in 2013. If anything I should be cringing that my cb in dynasty keeps blowing it by doing it to much. There are football games that had the basics of football NAILED in 2004 and yet here we are wondering what happened.

I don't own the game or have any plans to purchase this year's installment. But for those that play NBA2K & The Show, why is it that RTG never changes. There is no incentive to play 4 years. You start as a freshman, end as a senior & nobody cares. Even if you win 4 NC nobody. This team refuses to innovate. How about making a stale mode fresh. Try anything. I just played 13 & got bored after selecting my team.

Definitely. Thankfully, I'm able to look past those issues because of how much I enjoy the game otherwise.

Yea it's gonna be tough for if there isn't a patch to fix the coverage and other nuances. I play every game in dynasty and do all the recruiting. Game might be enjoyable for a sporadic few games here and there but def not season after season. My $60 deserve better
