What I'm really asking is are we sure both classic and euro teams are all in next gen. If so, amazing. Seems odd that they would create so many new players twice in such different aesthetic styles and with such different fidelity, not just resolution or detail. They were modeled with a completely different approach with different models and textures.

Maybe there are two teams doing it which explains why the Euro current gen guys have the same style as 2k12-13 and the new guys look closer to that high quality cg ad for 2k13 awhile back.

They were obviously made with a different style/aesthetic and I had guessed those were the beginnings of the next gen models. If I'm right Blake/Rose/Durant/Michael will all look stunningly realistic as will everyone else that team has created in the meantime.

Well, it's safe to assume they will have HD textures and cyberfaces at least. The 12th man on the bench might not look as stunning, just as the case is with background characters on this generation.

Well I plan on buying xboxOne when it comes out, but will still purchase nba2k14 for my current gen 360. Can always re-sell privately or trade in for next-gen games

I'll be getting it for current gen and then on next gen when that comes. It'll be over a month after the release for 360 and ps3 before it come out for next gen and I know I won't be able to resist getting it
