Interesting though, I noticed it was much easier for the home team to complete slants as the visitors DB's were typically a step slow to react. Vice versa as well, the home team's DB's were cat quick and shadowed a few slants nicely.
Slants are IMO a legacy issue. Those are my go to routes when I absolutely need a play. And IRL they are the hardest to defend.

Ok. This is the 2nd time this happened. PS3 demo. I was Michigan, I was playing ohio state. Ohio State threw a pass into the endzone, My michigan safety caught the football in the endzone, I was tackled in the endzone. Touchback right? Nope. They gave Ohio State a touchdown after a review. This happened before. Last time, the defender caught the ball out of bounds and they still gave the offense a touchdown. This is truly a gamebreaker unless it's not in the final product of course...

I definitely don't agree with that comment about slants. Any route can be covered easily IRL with the right coverage. The problem is there isn't a "right coverage" for slants in the game. IRL you can adjust how you cover slants in various formations any way you want, it's more about the route combinations than the slant route itself. This is one area the game needs to improve on

The NCAA series used to be THE series for me. But I've sat out the last several years. I really figured my days with NCAA were done. But after playing the demo, it looks like I'll be coming back this year.

Has anyone else noticed that the dive tackling is messed up? I can be chasing a guy who is faster and should have no chance of catching him, but I'll dive and somehow catch up to him and make the tackle. I'm hoping that is fixed in the final version, but I'm not too hopeful.

Yea - I think I'm in the same boat. I need to keep messing around with the difficulty settings and sliders but I've had quite a few fun games already that are making me think I'll pick the game up this year.

Just today I've seen some cool cut scenes of head coaches running to the referee and calling for a time out.

Really cool.

Just seen a Wr and DB fight for a ball then after the DB couldn't break the Wr's grip he shoved him to the ground. It happened real fast but the replay showed it up close. It was super fluid and realistic looking.

Only time I seen it though and I've played the Demo a ton.
