See, I respectfully disagree with you. Uniforms help make the game experience for some people (including me). I also like to change up uniforms to classic looks to switch things up. I don't want to play with incorrect items. I want to play the game just like I see on TV. Would you like to play injustice with Superman wearing green/yellow? Dealbreaker? No. Heartbreaker? Yes.

I've been playing Madden and other football video games since the Atari 2600. I've seen how far along the genre has come. I accept that the game will not be perfect, but as long as they are close is fine with me.

The stuff that being mentioned on here is just ridiculous. Like picking pepper out of fly crap.

If you don't want to play the game because the jersey numbers are a tad bit too big knock yourself out. That's just dumb.

Actually, it's not dumb. When you factor in that EA is THE ONLY COMPANY ALLOWED TO MAKE AN NFL GAME and they STILL can't get simple uniforms correct, it's absurd!!!

It reeks of laziness, stupidity and downright lack of caring. There are fans of every single NFL team and NCAA team, and yet, every year, despite threads devoted to UNIFORM ERRORS, they still manage to **** up way more than they get right. It's pathetic!

If uniform correctness doesn't bother you, then why the **** are you in this thread???

I bet you would. Why? Because that is the IDENTITY of the team.


Guess what the IDENTITY of the 49ers are? GOLD (the name comes from the 1849 GOLD rush). If the helmets are TAN instead of GOLD, it's like putting a bat or pterodactyl on the Seahawks and Falcons helmet. It's butchering the team IDENTITY, man.

That's why it's important. Not because I'm obsessed with number sizes and sock stripes. It's because I'm obsessed with the IDENTITY of my favorite team.

The uniforms looked great last year. From what I can see in the YouTube clip they look great again. But the video itself isn't very clear. So how can you conclude that the colors are accurate or not? Why complain about the socks on the home uni when EA and Nike collaborate on the unis?

The teams with multiple uni options change them around frequently. Because of a myriad of reasons.

Back to the colors, the game is still close to two months from launch. I'm sure the big issues will be ironed out.

If not, go back to playing 2K.

From top to bottom this is one of the worst posts I have ever read on this site, Madden 12 had less than 16 uniform errors, Madden 13 has upward of 100. To this date only 5 fixes have been made.
