I was looking for things like
zone or power run blocking scheme
1st, 2nd, third down tendency sliders for defense
Offensive scenarios like EA's gameplan thing (sorry forgot what it is called)
Aggressive or conservative at the end of half/games
4th down tendencies (punt or go for it)

The game of American football can really be broken down to scenarios and strategy at the coaching level. Yet we have very few sliders and no ability to create plays.

By comparison the game of basketball is very free flowing and can be played with minimal coaching.....yet those games have an amazing amount of coaching sliders.....

I guess I was hoping for way more control over the programs strategy and X's and O's.

Hopefully we will get that level of depth in future iterations

Personally, I can't tell you what facemask anyone for LSU wears. But I know Les Miles' coaching stats.

There's a reason ESPN discusses what coaches have done in the past, and they never bring up when someone changes their facemask or is wearing a different style of cleat.

Nice to see they added the team logos to the Hats on coaches.

Few thoughts.

1. So you can edit the stats of every coach before starting a dynasty? Like average recruiting ranking? What are the default stats for the coaches? Are they all even?

2. If I'm reading this right and stats can be fully edited, then you can prolly add another week of roster making for the awesome folks of Operation Sports. Getting all of those stats to be accurate is going to take some time.

3. Curious, but why aren't real coach likenesses in NCAA football? They aren't student athletes so why cant Nick Saban and Urban Meyer be represented in the game?

4. If the stats for coaches are referenced as stat overlays during games then it's going to add a ton of immersion to dynasty as they years go on. Please happen.

Doesnt mean upgraded unis and equipment should not be updated. Espn not discussing this doesnt make it any less important, considering players will be swayed to attend schools based on uniforms.

I wonder if the coach contract length is longer than 3 years. Would like to see it be more realistic
