Just finished the game, and won 6-3. Kyle Field was awesome. I turned crowd volume up to 100, and everything else down a notch or two, then jacked up my TV. Felt like I was there!

Just beat Bama 24-17 on All American. My only selfish complaint would be that Nessler just said "touchdown!" in a bored voice when I scored with 35 seconds left on a 50 yard TD pass.

Oregon (me) vs. A&M
Lost 7-17

AA difficulty for both offense and defense
No slider changes

I ran 4 verticals every single play. Threw 4 interceptions.
In NCAA 13, if I did that I would win 42-7 or something.

Game feels like butter. Very smooth. Great hits.

Was not impressed with crowd sound improvements that were supposedly added. I turned it up in settings, helped a bit. Still want the HUGE ROAR when a touchdown happens. Oh well.

Really was impressed, but like I said, I just ran 4 verts to see if I could torch the CPU like last year. Didn't happen.

Johnny Football was crazy. The computer read option is fantastic.

Can you play any matchup between the six teams? Such as Michingan vs A&M

Re: NCAA Football 14 Demo is Available Now, Post Impressions Here (360, PS3)

I'm more of an NFL guy, but I have played the recent iterations of NCAA and have been a football video game vet since the days of the Atari 2600. As far as EA football goes, this is the best it has felt in nearly a decade. They finally slowed the game down and it is MUCH smoother. Not nearly as twitchy and silly looking. The physics look really good and the tackling was nice. I saw mostly wrap up, realistic looking tackles and good pursuit angles. Passing was fluid and smooth, but very easy (probably because I was on Varsity). The line play looks and feels very good, but the O line seems a bit overpowered (could also be my difficulty setting). I won 21-14 as OSU vs. MICH. The slower game speed and finally the removal of the arcade, zig zag running makes the game feel 10000x better. Overall, not too shabby.

It's amazing how much more fun a game is the more realistic it is.
