Lol. That thing is hideous. For now it shouldn't be in...I mean nobody wears it anymore. Once all current equipment is included they should go ahead and include the retro stuff. But that helmet just screams 80s

Nope. Sure isn't. One of the most popular QB facemask of all time. I hate ea sports current gen gameplay anyways. So I was already not planning on buying it. But now I have no need to if I can't even make the players look how I want them to look.

That picture is from 1985. But South Carolina had a pretty good QB wear it his whole career from 2004-2007. There are still players that wear it in the nfl. But you are right. They are getting rid of the "normal" helmets all together. You can't even buy them in sports stores anymore.

It just screams "quarterback" it was the quarterback mask of the 80s and 90s. Idk how historic roster people are gonna do them now.

Also it sure looks better than those revo speed helmets. Gosh those things are uglyyy.

Un-be-liev-able....I too am disappointed in the lack of equipment updates over a 3-4 year span...but to not buy a game...because of A facemask let alone a facemask that was from the 80's is just mind-boggling.

The NCAA Art Team sure needs to look into patching modern day equipment, because that "RAM space" excuse will not stand next gen.

If someone says they aren't buying the game for a reason you think is dumb, don't worry about it and don't say anything that implies you disagree with it because its just going to start a useless fight. If you feel the game is worth buying, and they are being ignorant, so what.. its their loss if they decide not to buy the game and miss out. Sometimes its better to not say anything and just let an unpopular opinion be unpopular, instead of trying to poke fun or make others see things the same way you see them.

Oh let me say this so I don't sound crazy, if the gameplay was top notch I would buy the game if it only had one facemask. But since ncaa gameplay current gen is so below my expectations as far as gameplay I was really hoping I could make my players my own to distract me from the gameplay.

From watching a bunch of videos I think the gameplay in NCAA 14 looks much improved from NCAA 13. The equipment isn't a deal breaker for me, although it would have been nice to see that one facemask everyone wants.
