Re: E3 2013: NBA Live 14 Hands-On

Well the gist of this thread was the shoot around which featured the dribbling mechanic. If you want to make a thread of the things live needs to do or hasnt done try that but you aren't adding anything constructive to this thread.

Bottom line is for the people that played the demo liked it and people for whatever reason refuse to accept anything positive about live.

I actually found this part pretty interesting, I do wish EA would stop with the "signature" stuff (feature talk is getting annoying) just call it a dribble move lol.

They love to make every little thing stand out don't they?

Anyways I found the fact that synergy can track when and possibly where a player is using certain dribbles to pretty interesting. DOn't know how much I'd care about it in a video game but it would be fun to look at that stuff on my free time.

Is this some kind of a joke?
Signature Dribble = No one dribbles the same, or at least notable ball handlers will handle the ball differently from other players. Lets use common sense here.

Signature usually refers to something specifically tied to an individual.

There is no such thing as a signature dribble. Common Sense told me that
Certain players have certain go to moves. Kyrie has the UTEP 2 step, D.Rose's has herky jerky type of crossers, KD has the double crossover pull up. Melo has the stutter step pull up. D.Wade probably will have his smooth, slalom type of slashes to the lane. I didnt feel the need to explain myself because it WAS common sense. Nobody in the NBA has the same exact dribble styles sooooo.....

Name 2 players who have the same style and go-to-moves.....

That's what it boils down to, players fulfilling their own unique personas.
