We will find out today when E3 opens up for everyone else and the show starts. News should be filtering in in a few hours!

Excited for Madden next gen a lot.
I've simply used the ignore button on the career complainers and blind haters.

Cant wait to see more vids in the coming months.

I'm really interested to see what current gen gameplay looks like, because based on what I have been told by people who played the game, most of this stuff they're talking about with next gen, line interactions, contextual awareness with LBs putting their hand on DEs to move around them, footplanting, is all in current gen as well. Obviously true step, 50x contextual awareness and some of the other features like dynamic crowds and sidelines is next gen only, but to me it almost seems like they are using a lot of current gen as a foundation as far as line play and contextual awareness.

the more I look at that part, the more I believe Merriweather needed to brace himself for the block, if not that lineman would have destroyed him. If this were current gen I would probably chalk it up to suction but considering the AI touted for Madden on the new consoles, I can buy into the possibility that the defender was using self preservation, lol.
Ehhh, yeah, I think that's reaching. If he stays on his pursuit angle, the lineman would be blocking him in the back. Moreover, from the looks of that angle, he's the last line of defense. Run and dive at the feet, at least.

Also, I've never seen anyone dive and slide solely on their cup before! :P Look at the defender who dives. His chest never hits the ground. Cup slide!

If this is the case, Madden on next gen is doomed.

I guess it comes down to POV and a difference of opinion, no biggie. You are the second poster to state I'm "reaching" but I disagree and an example is in another part of the video, defenders react to other players diving or falling, trying to avoid them. That's what I think is happening in that part, the defender being contextually aware of the blocker and reacting. I could of course be wrong and it's just suction but I have elements to support my opinion. I don't think the blocker hitting him would be a block in the back because it looks to me like the blocker would would catch him from the side.

Also, I liked the slide after the dive because I thought it showed the momentum of the player versus having him just hit the ground and stop. Then again, that's a football field not a basketball court or hockey rink so you might be right, lol. A player should probably only slide like that on a football field in the rain, snow or ice.

Definitely looks like the same old suction/morphing interaction due to the fact the momentum of both players is totally stopped and they morph into the animation. The animations should flow into each other, and that's not happening. I still think everything in the ignite engine is nowhere near being into the game so I'm keeping my mind open, but that's definitely the same stuff from current gen. The slide looked realistic to me though.
