I agree to some extent, but I wouldn't even mind some exaggerating in terms of graphics if they at least showed something about actual gameplay improvements. You know, stuff like making spin dunks and self alleys actually defendable, break down animations triggered by the defender over-committing instead of auto-stumbling caused by stupid sig gimmicks, giving defender a fair chance to counter every AND1 iso move, playcalling, touches etc...

So if there's any substance to future previews, they could actually render and photoshop as much as they want. 2k13 graphics would be good enough for me if they show actual work being done on gameplay, too.

I love NBA 2ks game play but I am sick of the poor inaccurate rosters every year.

Only basketball video I want to see is NBA Live. Only chance of getting a basketball game with decent roster ratings.
