Are you speaking for everyone? Cause some did discuss and even tried to refute Armor & Sword's posts without actually addressing his issue of the AI going backwards. Whether this is outside of the thread title is another issue as it may be. But that didn't stop some from discussing this.

lol, you are mature and wise enough to know how it goes, never let the truth and facts get in the way of a good story. What's funny is, if I thought Madden was such a good game or was going to be, I couldn't care less what others thought. I would of course respect their opinion but it wouldn't bother me, nor would I feel compelled to change their mind. It's one thing if someone stated they like or don't like the game and then proceeds to articulate why to others, cool but when we get into the selective memory to support opinions, that's when I smh.

I haven't been satisfied with next-gen Madden for any considerable length of time in a long time and when I post about it, it's therapy, wrapped in constructive criticism, which beats screaming at the wall or just giving up on football gaming. However, I don't get frustrated with or feel the need to convert those that are satisfied with game, unless they try to imply there must be something wrong with me since I'm not.

On the topic of presentation, I get the impression that the creative minds behind it in Madden think emulating a broadcast is somehow boring and "old hat". That same disconnect was there even with Ian, in certain regards, when he would state things like "you want that in a video game?" I will never understand the seeming philosophy from Tiburon that they can do something better before every actually doing it right. That's the the impression I get from Mike Young with presentation, "of course we could easily do it just like a network broadcast but what fun would that be?" lol

The only thing I fear with the sideline reporter is them repeating everything fom week to week.

All truth posted right here. That's why I'm never in the NBA 2k or MLB The Show Forums. I don't care to talk about them because I'm too busy enjoying them. In this forum I'm just on the opposite end, because there are guys in those forums who feel how I feel about Madden. I still don't try to sway their opinions or convert them to lovers of the dev team or game.

Also Tiburon is hilarious with their approaches to presentation at times. I think their getting on the right track now though(hopefully). At least that GOD AWFUL on the field approach is gone that they tried from 06-08. IDK what they were thinking with that. It's like master it before you move onto something else.

I do agree with Armor & Sword. I played 12 and 13 this week. I have 12 and rented 13. I like a lot of the features more in 13 -- like the pass trajectories-- but 12 does play a better game of football imo.

Someone argues Tiburon ignores AI. I argue it's limited by hardware. A&S says M13 went backwards and something about features or whatever, ignoring that I'm stating a case about the hardware use for the greater AI we all want, that it being a step backwards is not a talking point.

That computing 21 individual AI's to absorb and reaction to a wide variety of variables in seconds is certainly going to demand more from the hardware than a single pitcher in MLB The Show.

But of course to you Bucky, the one of the "EA sucks" argument is the one being ignored.

Very typical OS.

For the record, I didn't see anyone refute his claim...it merely doesn't matter to the point I've made. I don't care about it going backwards, I'm arguing the challenge of it going leaps forward...the leaps we all want and ask for.

I'd say that going backwards in AI is somewhat ignoring. Wouldn't you? What does going backwards have to do with Hardware?

I think going backwards in AI is a huge talking point when talking about where we want to be.

Doesn't excuse the AI going backwards.

How can you not care about it going backwards?

Why not just agree with the guy and say, but I hope and think with the upgraded hardware of the next generation we will see a much improved AI?

Cause, well, the AI really did go backwards from 12 to 13.

These new features are nice only if they make the experience more immersive. If they add more windows/menus it will not feel that way.

I don't care about any of this unless they fix the OL/DL interactions and the sliders.
