I really hope they didn't get rid of scouting, because I think that provided an aspect of realism to recruiting. I liked the fact that I could still get quality players later on in recruiting. Finding that diamond in the rough was really cool and I felt that it kept recruiting interesting. I don't think I like this streamline concept they are going for if they are going to just cut stuff out. It almost feels like they have cut past the fat and are starting to hit bone.

Automatic progression based on program prestige and player position. No accounting for offensive or defensive schemes, coach playcalling, or player statistics that I have ever noticed; progression always appears to be an across-the-board affair. Reworded: if a player progresses, he gets better at every skill he has relevant to his position, regardless of the system he is playing in or how he fared on the field. The magnitude of the increase is governed by program prestige.

In addition, I have never seen player regression in NCAA; arguably regression makes less sense in NCAA than in Madden so this can be justified.

I love the additions but I'm still kind of in shock if thats whats they mean by "All-New Dynasty" There is nothing all-new about that. We need more to do in off-season (Spring Ball), A special kind of Dynasty presentation with a wrap up show, Bowl selection show or something.

They didn't do away with scouting. Scouting and recruiting now both use the same system. So for example, out of your 5000 points, you can use 250 for scouting and 4750 for recruiting; or you can use 500 for scouting and 4500 for recruiting. Also, as far as I know, they didn't do away with any recruiting features they were touting with last year's edition.

I do believe we'll be hearing more from the guys at EA in regards to some presentation specific dynasty features. Dynasty is the mode that gets the most traffic.

I had a good question for Aj. But if this works properly in the game it could be pretty dope.

Lets say your Offensive Coordinator has the coaching skill of increasing THP and THA. Will that attract more highly ranked QB's?

Or with any attribute. So we could see 5 Star QB's going to USC every other year like in real life. Or with any other position.

So when im playing my Dynasty, I should see Alabama with an All-American Defensive back just about every year (Saban coaches the DB's)

If its the mode that gets the most traffic, I don't understand why they've almost completely ignored it in this years edition. All they've done is make every call a quick call and minutes are now points. And give coaches progression, which is bizarre and unrealistic. Thanks for that. Really hoping there's more.

Coaches progressing is bizarre and unrealistic? It's the furthest thing from it, in my opinion. Your head coach at Tulane isn't going to be as good at what he does as say Nick Saban. Nick Saban wasn't as good of a coach when he was at Michigan State as he was at LSU or is at Alabama. Parity in the abilities of coaches and coordinators exists in college football, and now it exists in NCAA 14.

Indirectly that should be the case. In theory, a coordinator who boosts the THP and THA of a quarterback should mean increased on-field performance by the QB, which results in better stats, which results in a higher rating for the dynamic passing pitch (can't remember what it's called). This should result in more initial interest from QB recruits at the beginning of a season and more bonus points as you recruit them.
