It's the hardest sport to get to realistic status. So My advice is to be happy with what you got.
Exactly man. If people understood the pressure that the team faces from up the corporate ladder (make a profit), and then the added pressure of adding what they feel will make the game better, PLUS the lack of a fair development cycle and the ungrateful jerks that complain about everything, they would learn to appreciate the game. I agree with you 100%, I think the new engine will make a huge difference and eradicate alot of th stale mechanics of pass NCAA games.

We shouldn't have to be happy with what we got because the game is worse than last generation. The game should have gotten better and it didn't. The game play is worse, the crowd interaction is worse, presentation is worse and no FCS teams. So I think a lot of of us feel the series is not as good as it should be and the sales numbers show that.

Well said.

And just to add.....I'm sure everyone appreciates the dev team's hard work. For instance, I appreciate that they took the time to attend games two years ago and record actual school-specific crowd chants. But when it comes time to release the game and you can barely hear said chants it just leaves you scratching your head. What makes it worse is that they have fallen into a habit of not fixing stuff like this....they just move on to the next additions without addressing issues that begin to plague the game.

I want to be as into NCAA football as I was years ago.....and it's not that I've outgrown the game because I still play older iterations. The folks at EA need to understand that there's a segment of us who are loyal to the NCAA franchise and just want to like what they are putting out again and not be put off by freezing issues and other stuff that just kills the game.

My biggest "head-scratching moment" is them adding dreads and once we saw the picture, the whole community was like WTF is this??? How do you add ONE PAIR of dreads and put in the worst looking way to wear them? I still laugh at that when I see it and think of my reaction when I first saw.

Will there be package plays? Like an inside zone and quick screen on the same play? It's used in college all the time but from what I've heard, it's not in this year.
