Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix: MotoGP returned to the US for the first time in 10 years for the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca in July 2005, with a fairy-tale first GP win for American Nicky Hayden. The Californian track played host to Grand Prix events from 1988 to 1994 but advancements in MotoGP™ racing machines required the event to be moved elsewhere while the track was modified and adapted to meet present day safety requirements.

Not a fan of the fancy razzle dazzle first person menus. Too reminiscient of the Codies F1 series (and they sucked there), so if Milestone can improve it, credit to them.

I'll admit, the moving to the bike in first person was a nice touch though, it sort of reminded me of GP4 where when you hit go to track, the pit crew would appear (usually through the back of the garage) and set up the car, start the engine then tell you that you were clear to go, then walk back into the garage and disappear.

However I do wonder if that visor view can be removed in the menus or if it's a permanent thing.

If they got something like that level of immersion, it's looking good, but if it's simply the Codies-style idea of making a 3D menu for the sake of it and to show off, then I'll be disappointed.

Gameplay looks dry and boring.

Eh.... I was pretty disappointed. I'll still give it a try though.
