To continue this metaphor, insanity is continuing to expect a birthday present and not moving on with one's life with recalibrated expectations.

Now the present (info/game) could suck. But it would have sucked equally in the morning (today) or after dinner (20th)
LOL, this really is my last time posting about it but WTF?

If that "kid" was told they would get their present that morning but then told a few hours before they had to wait until that night and their last 9 birthday presents were shotty at best, then yeah, I think that kid has every right to be disappointed. FYI, the kid is NOT the one at fault in that analogy.

After 9 years the kid is partially at fault for his disappointment. The kid should get a clue after 9 yrs or at least lower expectations.

I guess if we had another gift giver; but alas we are stuck with one football game gift giver....Reality is, this is sorta par for course...Still, gotta be able to throw it in their face for dropping the ball again....Leaving something unchallenged is to accept less than....Standing around saying its all okay, is to say, keep doing what you're doing..."Thank you sir ! May I have another?"

What we are is optimistic, which generally is a better way to live than being pessimistic and thinking each new Madden game is gonna suck...

Meaning they are behind schedule. Something gonna get cut from the game. SMH typical typical typical . Maybe they should only release a new madden every 5 years, so they have plenty of time to finish it before they release it and put everything in it they plan to and that it needs.
This is horse shhh***!! I havent even been buying the game since 09 but I still follow the game hoping they come close to something playable! Been looking forward to seeing whats up with this franchise bit?? Another let down and you figure I would be use to all the let-downs but its almost like getting nothing you wanted for christmas 8-9yrs in a row now, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! They even need an overhaul of leading up to the release date! More information, more gameplay, more blogs, updates, earlier demo release and much more! Once you start skipping dates you take away the thunder and the build-up!! This is another sad day!!

Insanity is doing the same action and expecting a different result....

What we are is optimistic, which generally is a better way to live then being pessimistic and thinking eac new Madden game is gonna suck...
Which is also insane. Every year you expect a certain kind of game. Every year EA makes it clear what kind of game it wants to make. Every year you guys are disappointed when EA does what it said it would. Yep, thats insane.

Not to be factious but it's sad seeing people blame a metaphorical kid instead of their metaphorical parents. No wonder the metaphorical society has gone to ish. lol
