Just watched the video for the first time. A little behind. but.... sigh. Idk why I expect every year to be different when it just ends up the same. The game isn't and never will be sim. It's a good game for casual gamers. But terrible for sim-heads. Foot-planting looked horrible. Alot of the times it looks like the running backs would toe pick into the ground and slide to their next step. Why not change how players move all together like NHL did with true performance skating? it makes no sense.

You don't remember posting this??? Basically same thing Rick_14 said. There was no point to prove, common sense could tell what I was talking about and yea you and rick were the two who pointed out the picture he was not "10 yards ahead". I think I'm intelligent enough to see the pic I posted he was only a yard and half in front the blocker. Wanting to jump in so fast to try and disprove my post was your first intention rather than read and comprehend what I wrote.

I'm more baffled, I have to defend the picture posted marking a guy to show a flaw in the blocking release. Rather than discuss what appears as the same ol blocking animations. Go ahead defend the lack of the defender releasing from the block after the running back is far past him.

Defenders are disengaging from blocks and their rush assignments once the RB is past them, but not fast enough (waiting until the runner is 10-15 yards down field is unacceptable, and useless)....In the NFL highlights you see the defenders releasing immediately and chasing the runner....The only blocking engaged is when an offensive player gets between a defender and the runner; as well as some side pushes/blocks....

Unless it's for next gen, I believe enhanced blocking interactions is a pipe dream. I believe I had that:

At a high level, I would think that would be one of the improvements that Tiburon touts in the previews. But of what I've read, most of the improvement has come in the form of logic i.e. knowing who to block. I don't know that these improvements will make me fear teams w/ the best pass rushers.
I'm a little put off that they turned around and showed love to the run game again. It was just addressed in M11 and while not perfect, it was improved & serviceable. The expectation from this fan was that pass blocking would get the next re-write. 3 years later, nothing. I don't quite get it.

Which is why I always harp on the line battle.

Offensively
-The Tackle punching a DE to the inside
-The TE chipping or assisting

Defensively
-The DE setting the edge: since it's an out side run you should see the DE pursue forcing the run to the side line giving the linebackers (at least one should not be blocked simply because of the numbers) corners and safties time to contain if not tackle this is just a basic defensive responsibility, it's not a concept, it's not a technique, it's not a scheme. It what is simply each players responsibility on plays run to the side lines or inside runs that were bounced to the outside.

Linebacker pursuit angles:
Let's assume the defense called is a 4-3 cover 3 the linebackers basic responsibility is to read the run RB to the QB before dropping into a zone and taking any player coming into that zone as a threat. So judging from the distance from the DE to the linebacker I assume one of two things.

A)pursuit angles are still bad
B)Linebackers are not performing according to their most basic responsibility.

This is what frustrates me about Madden. I can forgive it for infinity 1.0, 2.0 should be much better. I can't forgive it for not obeying basic football principles just because their new feature needs to work. I can't forgive negating basic physics that Calvin Johnson should have been blown up in the first trailer. Madden misses on even the most basic things because the common player who knows nothing about proper football but likes Madden isn't going to know the difference or care.

I know Cry me a river right.

These screen shots make it look like the running would look pretty good. Screenshots Madden looks really good.

Tapping X/Squarewill execute a basic dive, but adding the precision modifier triggers a precision dive where you’ll reach the ball out and stretch for every inch. Furthermore, if you attempt a precision dive at the goal line, while behind a blocker you’ll execute a precision high dive over the back of your teammate and into the end zone."
Yes but you see guys going forward and then get pushed back for 5-10 yards

Consider the block:blockshed dynamic to be off for demonstration purposes. Expect to see these perforations filled in the final build.
