my worry about next-gen is, who's to say that they can get it right in next-gen? will EA drop the ball again? Are they capable of accurately portraying "realistic" looking running annimations? Until I see it im not gonna just expect all the issues that have plagued this series for years to disappear like that just because its NEXT-GEN. They could still screw up next-gen just as easy as they screwed this-gen up

to me it seems real jerky and robotic with the moves and cuts. Doesnt look natural. The step back jukes, especially look unnatural.

It looks more arcadish(Spelling) then realistic, but it might be fun to play. As long as they fix the CPU AI I will be ok with a "fun Game"

The animations are just brutal. I actually like the idea of a modifier and more ball carrier moves that only certain players can pull off. But the animations are just incredibly unrealistic the way they play out. (The running animations actually look worse now then they ever have) I have no clue how developers can look at this and say it is OK.

With that said, I am not as concerned about players breaking a million tackles because I am sure they are just showing off the moves in this short trailer.

I'm not saying there shouldn't highlight plays shown. I'm just saying there should be more variety to the plays shown. You can showcase the Run-Free feature without just about every run going for fifteen-plus yards. Last time I checked running backs can use their moves even if the run doesn't go for a first down or more. Barry Sanders is a good example of running back using their arsenal of moves in the backfield or before the first down marker.

Looks like everyone moves like Dante Hall, but will be more interested in watching a quarter of gameplay or something on an actual difficulty rather than freaking out over a highlight reel full of actual highlights.

Will be liberating to have options while running the ball... get hit and fall after 3-5 yards (or 'race you to the edge!') has just become a staple of the running game for the most part until now.

Also, this video tells me that there was no locomotion overhaul. They may have made foot planting a little better for the RB's, but all the other players on the field are gliding/morphing/sliding all over. Players can get run by and turn around in a nano second and still get back in the play to make a tackle.

They need a complete locomotion overhaul like NHL did, adding over 1000 (skating) animations and include momentum/acceleration/de-celeration/footplanting etc etc etc

Looks better than the trailer but running animations needs to be fixed bad, they still are robotic, hunched back, and they execute the moves way too fast, like someone said in another thread, the moves just POP out of nowhere. Ball carriers need to slow down and take short choppy steps before they execute some juke moves and some cuts.
Without running animations being addressed unfortunately it comes across as another gimmicky feature design to try to hide the real problem but at the end of the day it just doesn't look right. Its like putting new paint on a old car that doesn't run very good. Hopefully they address this in the next-gen version.

He's actually right, you won't be able to keep doing that all game, there is a fatigue and stamina system this year.
