The hate for the rankings is the broken ranking system, chances are we will still have that next year...just take the top 4 bcs teams and put them in the playoff...also hopefully fix some of the rankings issues...EA could have easily put in the playoff

Who cares if these boards riot? EA clearly doesn't because they continue to ignore some of the biggest complaints on these boards. And people wouldn't get mad when they know going into it that it's not based on what it's going to be like in real life. If they can manage to make fake rankings based on formulas that we don't even know, they can manage to create a playoff based on a fake formula. It already pisses off people when you get a team like San Jose State (for hypothetical purposes) in the BCS Championship when everyone knows in real life a 1 or 2 loss team would be in the BCS Title game over an undefeated San Jose State team.

And I don't want to hear crap about money when they rob people of $60 every year by putting out a minimally updated game, slapping a new year on it and trying to tell us it's improved. They tout the run game this year as being improved but can't even bother putting in realistic looking running motions. Same thing with last year when they talked about the passing game but left the ugly throwing motions in the game. So they don't seem to be spending their time usefully improving what they claim to improve so they might as well use the time to give us a playoff option.
