So again EA is focus more on the run game than the passing game. There is no mention of pass blocking really. Only that the line have been improved. So its apparent that the OL/DL interactions for passing haven't really been addressed, and possible no double-team pass blocking at all. This is a tragedy for-real. The OL/DL is a fundamental core basic. WOW where is the strategy in the passing game when u have the same thing since 2011 concerning blocks and counters. What about the 3 man rush??? Will we have the same sliding by OL men with 3 guys like before...come on EA!!!!!

"Last but not least, defensive pursuit angles have been tuned so that defenders are smarter about tracking down ball carriers. Combined that with the breakdown animation and recovery ability, defensive-minded players will have plenty of moves to choose from."
Yesss!

Heat-seeker? What?
I LOL at this and everyone is looking at me like wtf is so funny, but they will never understand. First thing to me that came to mind was playing Mortal Kombat using Jax or one of the cyborgs who shoot missiles LOL!!

I hope we get to see true gameplay of this soon!

Jax, really smoke?

I was thinking more along the lines of Scorpions "get over here!" because we all know that best simulates the suction-tackling we have seen over the years - may as well celebrate the D while we are here for the countdown *looks away*.

Looking back, we all know they mean heat-seeking missiles - those TNT dynamite tackles were too messy *looks away smirking*

All of the screenshots seem to have animations from Madder 13 and older versions.

Actually when I was reading the first part of the playbook it seemed like a gimmick but then when I started reading more it got interesting. None of you guys can like. The mechanic behind the LT or L2 being a stutter step kind of thing and you being able to string moves out of that is what we needed. When they emphasize stringing moves, it it more in the context of the new precision mode that they added. They also mentioned that they added 30 new moves in other articles that I read. When you actually read into it more and not just stop at the video it sounds pretty cool. Plus they emphasized the fact that the higher rated juking players will pull of prettier moves than the other backs. They will do the 3rd tier moves so apparently there is 3 levels of juking. It was also mentioned that elite backs will definitely be separated from the others.

They also mentioned that since new things were added to the ball carrier, they had to add more logic to the defense. What was in the top 5 of best news was that they fixed pursuit angles. This was something that REALLY needed to be fixed. That would mean instead of players running at angles to run to the back of your player, they will actually get in better position to cut you off.

All of that sounds good, however, where EA messed up was with the showcase of this trailer. This trailer did a terrible job of showing off everything that they talked about in the playbooks. NCAA did a much better job with at least telling us what was added or changed. Hopefully there are more videos added for these features soon.

Here are all the necessary articles to read into:

Way more refreshing than just watching the bad video they put together.
