Re: Another New NCAA Football 14 Screenshot - Georgia Bulldogs vs. Florida Gators
I can't stress this enough: If you're wanting something different and/or added, you're going to have to wait until Next Gen and hope what you want is implemented. They are NOT going to re-code line play this gen. They are NOT going to put your Revo-whatever into the game this gen. They are NOT going to add anymore cleats. You guys have had the same complaints for the past 3-5 years of this game and they haven't fixed it, what makes you think they were even going to try to fix it this year with Next-Gen just around the corner? Personally, I've just stopped nitpicking everything EA says or sends out in regards to the NCAA franchise because it does me no good. I guess I've just given up and resigned myself to the fact that this franchise, on this gen, is a lost cause due to bad decisions in the past that they're now too far behind on to fix or add.
Now, these screen shots look fine to me. I don't care if the game looks like NCAA '11, I just want to be able to play a fun game of NCAA football this year that doesn't freeze and doesn't have game-breaking issues. That's what I'm holding out hope for this year and that's basically it. I will buy this game because I want to see how the Infinite Engine Part Deux works in an NCAA setting, but me doing so has no bearing on why the stuff everyone requests every year isn't added.
I'd love this game to blow me away, but I'm not expecting that. Maybe NCAA '15 will do that to me on the Durango or PS4, but I've stopped expecting it on the 360.
Here's hoping they don't make the same mistakes with NCAA '15 on the Next Generation of consoles like they did at the beginning of this current gen that set the tone for an underwhelming 8 or so years of NCAA gaming.
