Re: MLB 13: The Show Live Launches

Is there any way(or if there isn't, are there any plans) to edit lineups in the show live? I don't mean like use a guy who according to the show live isn't on MLB roster type of thing, I mean like if in real life ____ is actually sitting instead of playing but the game has him playing, I wanna edit it.

Also, strange thing happened. When I was on "The Show Live" screen, it showed one lineup(that wasn't accurate), when I played the game, it was a diff lineup(the real life lineup)

And guys stats are correct, but team records are wrong? EX-It shows Bautista with 2HR(he got his 2nd in game #3 between Jays-Cleveland), but Jays are 0-2(and Red Sox are 2-0) and states that the Jays-Red Sox is game #3 of season for both teams....

Re: MLB 13: The Show Live Launches

Do career stats save, I used Felix Hernandez who was going for his 100th win of his career today, but the game said in the milestone watch that he only had 98 careers wins.

Obviously the opening day game was lost for teams, but still Felix should have 99 career wins going into the game.

If a player is going for his 499th homerun is it going to be saved in the game or will it just go back to the default 488th homerun of his career?

Also are previous day's games going to have the correct stats and correct win loss record updated?

Along with the win loss records being fixed, and scoreboards updating based on what's happening in real life as well.

Along with the team W-L records being off a game, some of the starting pitchers that have pitched already this season do not any compiled stats.

For example, I played LAA vs TEX and Harrison (who pitched on opening night) had no stats, yet if you look in the player stats, it has the correct season stats for other starters on the team.

Then I looked at OAK vs HOU -- Anderson vs Norris. Anderson has his stats listed correctly, but Norris (who also pitched Opening Day) does not. Weird.

Enjoying the mode, but it has to iron out a few kinks.

I just played the Angels vs Rangers game that's going on today, and I've run into a problem, mainly with the bullpens, or rather, the Rangers bullpen. The Angels bullpen consisted of all the pitchers I've seen and they are all on the roster, no problem there, only problem I had with the Rangers pen is that not only Francisco Rodriguez came out of them pen, but in the 9th, they sent out Brian Wilson............am I missing something? I know those two are still free agents. Why were they on the Rangers?

FA's get assigned to teams to take the spot of rookies. It'll take a few weeks before most of those players are added to SCEA's roster. I'd rather see generic players with comparable ratings, but SCEA made this choice, so we have to roll with it.

Ah, ok, that makes sense. I was just really confused at first and I had to look up and see if the Rangers had actually signed K-Rod, lol.

Re: MLB 13: The Show Live Launches

I'm really enjoying this mode WAY more than I thought and have played a bunch of games using it. Yes, it's a bit rough still as has been mentioned with room for improvement, but overall it's a lot of fun. I'm playing using more teams and using/facing different pitchers than I normally would, so SCEA gets a thumbs-up from me for adding this! ( that's also an homage to Ebert)

One wish, although I don't suppose there's any practical way to do this, but it would be nice if they could code fatigue into the players based upon how much they've been playing, especially to a reliever that is "not available" on a given day because he pitched the last two days or his pitch count, etc.
