I can agree with this!

Until the do overhaul the game, it feels stale to say the least and I for one am so sick of how the game doesnt "draw you in" with everything thats going on. What I mean, is that there are people who do like to watch others play madden on or offline, but here is not too much there to keep their attention if the detail isnt there for that.

Sideline to Sideline has been a mess along with the dimensions of the field in relation to the players on the field. I want those 5 yrds to feel like the hardest thing in the world to achieve. Its not easy to do that people as yo can see every Sunday and Saturday by the teams who lose week in and week out.

I have yet to meet or watch a game where someone fell flat on their face from the LOS but still gained 5yds doing so! I have yet to see and actual Safety cover sideline to sideline like they do in madden. If this hasnt been addressed at all here or next gen, then there's no point in even bothering to express concern for this series and drown ourselves out in it.

All QB's should have differentials tied to their character movement and style on the field. Not "signatures" but moreso, tendacies on how well they are composed when facing heat directly in their face or while on the run. This game does a poor job of establishing that and so everyone plays identical no matter who they are and regardless of the situation presented to them on the field.

RBs are mostly the same, there are quite a few backs who "cannot" be used as much as another back for various reasons and yet this game doesnt recognize that at all.

I believe this is all in part of that "strategic" element this game has been missing this gen and in the past aswell. The casual "pick up and play" mechanics in this game is what destroys the enjoyment thats to be had here in which case leads us to scrutinize belittle what small efforts have been done.

Which to me is just ridiculous. I can understand not having the controversial off the field activities added to franchise/ccm modes, but not having tattoos is just silly to me. Accurate player likeness down to the smallest details should not be prohibited. Makes me wonder what else the NFL doesn't want in the game, or doesn't push them to have. Not giving this team any more excuses because they damn sure don't need anymore, but it still makes me wonder.

Everything EA does has to be approved by the NFL licensing committee. The NFL has more say about what does and does not get put into Madden then Tiburon does. That is the sad state that we live in. That is the reason that the NFL loves having the exclusive deal, complete control.

What I want too know and hopefully in the next few weeks and months, is with year two of the infinity engine, will we see penalties called that aren't in the game now. Pass interference of both sides of the ball and hopefully penalties added that are in the NFL, but not in madden. If they want too call themselves a true sim game, they need too add these and stop with the tournament gameplay that have been giving us these 8 years.

bland repetitive commentary? and an Augmented animation engine you mean? there is nothing real-time physics about madden. The game is not realistic. I don't care if people like it for what it is. But I'm sick of EA lying to our faces about the overwhelming realism of the game. Then NFL players backing it during the year as revolutionary when we know they're getting a little chunk of change for even mentioning it. The games garbage. EA sports does not produce simulation games for adults. They're arcade games with a sim appearance made for adolescents.

Agreed, I don't see how people fall for the same old crap every year, it's quite sad. It's obvious that foot-planting is the offensive version of IE on defense in Madden 13. Everything is the exact same until the IE is triggered ever so often. The horrendous running animations are still their people!
And some people are getting excited about the line play improvements they said they made in NCAA, but if you read in between the lines and look at the video they put out, all they really did was tweak the line play again..... OK maybe they paid a little more attention to the line play that in years past but I guarantee its nothing big.

Maybe Madden's version of IE is a year ahead of NCAA 14's version since they came out with it first, but I highly doubt it, we will just have to wait and see.

I don't know how anyone can deny that Madden's artwork is stunning. It's the best looking sports game ever - AS LONG AS IT'S NOT MOVING.

Once it starts moving, that's when it goes to a straight zero. My question is, why is everyone expecting revolutionary changes? There will be some enhancements, and a whole new set of issues that will be introduced to get you hooked for next year.

There are much better games and much better football games available. Don't keep getting upset about what gets pumped out of Tiburon. They have their own strategy and plan and it seems to work for them financially.
Yeah, I was initially getting caught up yesterday because like anyone else that chooses to go on Madden/NCAA forums, I just want a football game I can play. However, unlike previous years, even last year, that initial enthusiasm subsided quickly after seeing the game in motion and getting a little more specific info. That's not to imply that I think M25 isn't worth paying attention to or that the devs didn't do anything all year, I am just saying I no longer think Tiburon can provide an optimal football experience for me, at least not on these consoles.

That said, my approach at this point is to try to glean if Madden has changed enough for me to tolerate it, so I can have a football game to play until the new consoles drop. The key things I am focusing on are player movement, passing being too easy, defensive teammate AI and lack of player differential which includes premier pass rushers not being dominant. I of course have more issues with M13 than just those but I think most of the others could be overlooked by playing in leagues with like minded gamers.
