so that means no tuck rule which have really seen in the game. but that will take the truck stick away pretty much since you cant lower the head in the open field. look for more injuries for running backs or more stepping out of bounds to avoid contact

Excuse me, but they don't even have all of the current rules/penalties implemented...

Re: Madden NFL 25 Developers Are Working On Implementing New NFL Rules

My overall view of these rules is that it want matter. Unless EA balance on the rules and make them work properly in Madden25 for once in their life. These new rules want make much of a difference at this point. I mean it will be interesting to see if the old rules get fixed in madden this year. It would be a big plus for Madden moving forward. But if it is the same old crap. Then it want matter much. Let's see if EA will make some changes for the common good for Madden this year and moving forward in the next Gen Consoles. I hope it works out will.

...Don't we have a trucking move?

I mean, when I push up the R-stick, my halfback lowers himself and tries to power forward.

I think it's a legitimate concern you bring up.

In Madden 13 runners automatically lower their head, maybe this year they can make it a penalty if you hold the right stick and run directly into someone. Who knows how they will make it work with these devs.

I am very curious on how they will suture and band aid this in the game.

Ian Cummings used to say that, along with "Madden players don't want to play full games, or have "mistakes" (like dropped snaps, this was being discussed here with Ian shortly after the Romo XP drop in the playoffs).

This is why I was thrilled to see that whole group of developers leave, they didn't want the Madden I want.

Via player edit you can assign any number to any player as it is right now in M13. So you could already do this, however you can also assign illegal numbers too and it doesn't matter. lol
