I have the EA Season ticket, figured I'd try this game out. I'm liking it to the point to where I think it might be a purchase for me. Seems like a very deep game.

I also like online setups where you can just play your rounds, then it ranks it against other players while not playing simultaneously like Hot Shots on the vita.

Wow thanks divot and sooner, not encouraging news on the green speed. That is really frustrating, especially being that they nerfed the putting for 14 anyway. I really hope there is an outcry and the greens play fast where they are supposed to be fast.

Everything else has me pretty stoked, except the green speed, and no practice swing head to head, sounds the camera on putting could be a pain also. Hope they address these issue, I know they wont put the practice swing, but really hoping for the other 2 to be fixed.

I think I've played about 360+ holes already and my putting average is 1.34 on sim difficulty. I sucked at putting in 13, I thought maybe I just got better but I think you may be right.

There are a few items that open with each level. Like 7 or so. Typically I'm leveling up after each round at least at the lower levels starting out.

Well I just noticed something rather large in terms of single player. I have my career set up for 4 rounds with cuts. My last 2 tournaments I have shot the score needed to make the cut or less and still have been cut.

Last tournament I shot a +4 after 2 rounds and was cut but guys made the cut with +6 and +7 and it even said on the screen the current cut was +4.

Anyone else seeing this issue? If this is indeed a bug that pretty much stops me from buying the game.

yea this year the putt length is contingent on the aiming marker, not the length of the swing, last year you could really blaze one by with too big of a swing like real life, this year they nerfed that it is way less and penal this year, also it is way less realistic unfortunately

I have decided, while I like simulation mode, it becomes unrealistic at times because they made it so hard. I think a mixture between tournament and simulation fits me better. I also have to keep the ball strike marker to sticky otherwise I am not even close on some shots.

Still shot freaking +12 last night and could not do ANYTHING.

Last year even though a cut line would say +2, that +2 score would still result with you being cut so you would have to score +1 or better. You said that the +4 resulted in you being cut, what was the other score you posted that got you cut, was it right on the cut line again or a few shots below?

As for the AI golfers still making it, that may have been happening last year as well, never really paid attention to that. If you are posting scores several shots under the cut line and still getting cut then that's a pretty big bug and I'll post that on the EA boards. They have a thread now open regarding the various glitches that have been found so they can document them easier and try and include it in a patch.
