That's something that's always bugged me about all console/computer golf games. Why in the WORLD don't they make the results when hitting out of rough more RANDOM??!! Try hitting out of the rough in default Simulation mode and get back to us. I can guarantee you it is no piece of cake whatsoever.....

I'm really on the fence about this game. I am playing the hell out of it and enjoying it a lot but the lack of yardage to hazards is an issue.

Most rounds I am cruising along at -2 to +2 and then I hit a shot and it ends up in a water hazard I didn't know was there (because I didn't do the flyby) or that I had no idea I could reach.

I didn't think this would be an issue for me but man it is bothering me. I was -3 with 2 holes to go in the sim 5 hole tourney and I hit my drive dead to nuts down the middle and the ball rolled through the fairway into the water. Ended up even for the whole thing but I had no idea that water was in play, very frustrating...

I'll also respectfully disagree that automatic ball drops have been improved.

That is the difficulty I have been playing and I am having no problems with it....

I just played 2 connected 5 hole tournaments and the hole overview didn't even match up to what hole I was on Therefore I had NO IDEA where to aim whatsoever. Please tell me this will be fixed.

For those having issues with accuracy try switching off the Season Ticket clubs to something with slight less power but more accuracy and workability.

Since doing that I my last 4 rounds on default sim have been -2, E, E, -1.

That looks fun regardless. It felt more like a horror game than the new Walking Dead game so there's that I guess.

2-5 putts per hole is just no fun at all. Think there'd at least be an arcadey driving range somewhere with targets to hit or something like that but that's been gone for a while too. Add a casual Caddyshack mode or something. I'm sure Bill Murray and Chevy Chase will do the voice work.

Seems like they at least tried to improve the info you get but I still can't tell what I'm doing wrong exactly or how to correct it. Especially on chip shots. There's the meters or whatever but they only come up after the shot so the visual cues are still too difficult to tell to be able to correct problems. It took me about 30-40 shots just to get through one of the power tutorials. If I heard that maybe you should consider the wind while aiming type line one more time I was gonna have Nantz's voice box removed.
