NBA 2K13 Roster Update Details (3-16-13)

Is there a chance ANY of the players on the wizards going to get upgraded? Since Wall been back, almost everyone on the team been playing better. I don't even think Martell Webster has corner specialist and he's been killing it from the corners recently. Gotta look up official stats, but it's time small market teams gets looked at. It's kinda hard playing as the team you root for when they're ranked 28 in everything.

I agree with your post, but on the other hand Webster is shooting something like 52% from the corners with over 90% of his makes being assisted. So if Dwight gets a 95 offensive rebounding rating for barely being Top10 in this regard this year, what else does someone like Webster have to do to get one of 2ks superpowers?
Just imagine Kobe or Melo shooting at that clip, 2k would probably upgrade the microwave skill so you'll shoot actual fireballs at the basket if you've collected enough experience points or spent 10 bucks on VC...

I think people definitely get a little too antsy with the ratings updates, but some of the other stuff really is quite laughable. How can you possibly put out an update with incorrect jersey #s? I can see where adding cyber faces, player tendencies, etc for missing players may take some time, but it literally takes about 10 seconds to change someone's jersey number. With all the millions of copies of this game sold around the world, surely 2k can afford to have a person or two who are solely responsible for tweaking the rosters on a weekly basis. Absolutely fantastic game, but this aspect could use some TLC.

I couldn't agree anymore. Their record doesn't indicate how well some of their players are playing.
I still think it's bs how Deron William's 3pt raiting got increased to 84 when he is shooting 37.6 from 3pt range while Vince Carter is at 82 shooting 41.6. It baffles me how players like Vince Carter, deshaw Stevenson, ect. are shooting way better than Deron Williams and their 3pt raiting is still lower.

2k should focus on signature skills too. Webster and Carter not having corner specialist is just wrong while players like Jeremy Lin have 5 star general. How does someone like OJ mayo not have spot up shooter while James jones do?
