Back in the day, didn't EA want Joe Montana to endorse it before they went with Madden? But Montana was already signed to Sega? That's how I remember it, but I could be mistaken...

Anyway, for the 25th anniversary, I'd love to see Joe Montana finally make the cover. Kinda full-circle, I guess.

If this cover doesn't end up being either Barry Sanders, Jerry Rice, or Joe Montana, I will be shocked.

To me, the Legend cover/modes are funny. I love the idea of legends, however Madden has always liked to copy other games idea's haven't they(I could make a very long list). They do it almost everytime their is competition. Now, they are into the old legend players, even offering Legend cover votes. Anyone know another game that started this the past 2 years with great success? This shows why EA needs competition....so they can copy good ideas and features people want.
