Thanks for the hands-on impressions jmount78 and Flaxseed Oil!
Flaxseed, 2K should send you a free copy for uploading those vids. You've done more work promoting this game than their marketing team. I want to laugh, but it's the truth.

I'll probably wait 2 weeks for the price to drop.
I know I said I'd pay full price on release day, but I'm guessing the price is going to drop in this baby by March Break.

One of the main things that killed me were the unrealistic sprints after rockets that no human, not even my favorite Ozzie SMith would get to, that 25 anticipatin seemed to fix.

The 1:30 mark shows the same crazy sprint, it looks like the 3rd baseman gets shot out of a cannon and flails his arms as he try to decellerate. Don't like it.

BUT, if they fixed the dreaded cut off alignments and got pitchers asses over to cover first better, I could test the attributes again to try to slow them down. So they react, not anticipate.

Thanks for the video Flaxseed. The Pujols signature style was spot on. Love the mannerisms they showed when he stepped-out of the box after he swung and missed. That is something 2k has always done very well.

As for that grounder to Beltre, I'm not gonna get to mad. Yeah the animation seemed a little fast, but I'm sure it can be fixed with some slider tweaks. The more I see & the closer the release gets, the more I'm leaning towards a day-1 purchase.

EDIT: Also love Byrce Hapers signature style

Harper's Sig Style is actually Sandoval's sig style.

Generic. He was rated at either 80 or 90 though, I can't remember.

Re: Some MLB 2K13 Ratings Revealed, Along with a Few Shaky-Cam Videos and Impressions

Just played 2k13 at best buy in Virginia for about 30 minutes after work today. Here is what I saw:
1) there is a more variety of uniforms for teams than last year, more alternates. They are missing my Nationals alternate RED(top)-Grey(bottoms).
2) Alot of players pics are off this year and have not been updated too there new teams.
3) Uniform colors have been fixed. Yankees, tigers, braves, dodgers, mariners, Red Sox and cubs. All have correct colors this year in the game.
4) did see the jogging by the other fielder when going for the ball in the gap. Same as 2k12 in that aspect.
5) when bunting, the pitcher also tries too get the bunt. It isn't always the catcher flying out too get the bunt like in 2k12- good thing.
6) there have been some fixes too fielding, did see urgency by the CPU too get the runner out at home when rounding 3rd. No pause glitch by cutoff man.
7) did see that glitch where players cross the plate, they do that crazy pause and rotate around thing.
8) Did see new animations when tagging runners and trying too get them out at the plates.

Only played about 30 minutes, but I was looking for certain things that was in 2k 12. Seem there really wasn't a major upgrade, but some things was tweaked and worked on. Too me ill be trading in some older games, but 2k13 isn't worth $60. maybe $35-40. I'm going too get it, because I love the fun factor. Hopefully there is a nice patch in the works that can address these issues. Alot better on the eyes with the uniform colors correct...smile
