I'm glad to see someone else supporting the fantastic AKI engine. WWF No Mercy and Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 are still the best wrestling games of all-time in my opinion.

Servers will still suck most likely, but I'm ok with 2k for the most part, or at least their NBA game.

Re: THQ Dissolved, WWE License heading to 2K

Why do people think that just because a company made great games in the past(like 10+ years ago) they can suddenly make great games again?(I'm referring to the AKI/syn sophia company).

Nintendo made great games in the 90s, does that mean that they're the best today? Times change, people in the company change, and so many variables change. Having success in the past doesn't mean they'll have success in the present or future. Besides, that company hasn't come out with any north american game for a console since 2004....

I remember meeting the THQ guys at E3 with the OS crew,, They were the nicest company there and fed us some grub!

I hope they find employment soon.

It looks like the PC version is available: http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/ca/e...e-wrestlefest/

It says buy now which implies they have it but also it activates on Steam...but it's not on Steam to buy, just says available 2013. That happend with Postal III last year so I don't know if it's actually available or not. I asked someone to try in the other topic, guess no one did.

The 360 has achievements listed, not just that but DLC achievements too.

Nope. They made Ready 2 Rumble for the Wii after their name change.
And it seems it was awful.

Agreed. They might not put out the greatest product but they are still human and they need money too!

I am excited that 2K has the license now! As long as they dont try and rush a game out it should be pretty good. I know yall remember Don King's "Pricefighter" lol yikes that didn't go too well The only issue that 2K will have to fix is there servers. Yikes! 2K servers are horrid and we all can argee on that. I don't know why they don't do it like that did back in 2007 for NBA 2K8 IMO those were the best servers in personally my favorite ones.

Re: THQ Dissolved, WWE License heading to 2K

Another positive of 2K over EA for WWE game....

Look at EAs most recent roster update for NHL. Guys who were sent to minors(in real life), were released from the teams altogether(in the game), half the game is filled with generic faces, and there's players who retired years ago,who are still in this game.
