I'm pleasantly surprised by this one. I have confidence they'll make a really good game.

EA would've done just fine I think. EA MMA is great. Of course with those guys probably working on UFC...well EA MMA was great anyway.

I'm guessing I won't need a gold account to download things or upload highlights anymore because 2K just doesn't do that. Even better if they put it out on PC. Can fix things like the awful Brian Pillman and Foley models and terribly out of date attires...and give AJ Sable's outfit from Fully Loaded '98.

Though just to toss it out there,Take-Two also happen to own Rockstar.

This is great news! 2k is slowly building their lineup back and I'm hoping that the next news we hear is that NFL 2k football is back!!!!!!

Please be Take Two, I just do not have any faith in EA. Imagine the Infinity engine in the WWE game, guys would get stuck in animations like in Madden.

Ea publishes some good games. Their problem has been tiburon. Their football games have been crap for the longest.

Ea canada developing is hit and miss but it seems the developers they have that are really good are the ones they bought out.

Although I would love to see what Take Two could do with the WWE, if this took any money from a future football game, I would be extremely dissapointed.

Honestly I would think the acquiring of this license is a way to further gain capital for a future football game. THQ should have dissolved a long time ago, but they've been able to limp along for as long as they have because WWE and Saint's Row basically print money.
