Exactly. Part of the reason why I stopped posting in the Madden forums is the "Game Changers" and community leaders are nowhere to be found.

So where do all those people go? MLB The Show! How to they learn to transition? Through Beginner mode!

Now 2K has gotten the MLB contract and is releasing a 2013. So what! If you dont want to play the Beginner mode, you dont have to. Never did!
not only that, Im in my mid 30's and remember being 8-9-10 and the choice of MLB games I had back then were rather simple to understand and learn the game. Now when my 9 year old son tries to play a game of baseball the only option is The Show and once again if you have grow men complaining about the hitting try being a 9 year old and playing this game.

Re: MLB 13 The Show Fact Sheet

lots of stuff there, but seeing how im not a diehard baseball fan and dont even play the game with the mlb players, Im gonna stick with last years version.
Wont have to interrupt my franchise and i can still use the fictional rosters from 2012.

The 7 new stadiums is probably my fav thing on that fact sheet.

other things like more fielding cameras,
ability to sim a season with no interruptions,
seeing the ball on bat contact
and create team would have to be in for me to get a new version.

i dont really care about every stance, uniform detail, stadium detail.

animations would be cool to see, but not worth a new game.

maybe i'll end up getting it down the line, but Im content with mlb 12 for now.

RBI Baseball was my first love. First game with real players.

I saw your posts about highly-rated players sitting in free agency, and while I'm the not the best person to answer this, I'll do my best. From what I read here -- ie, I didn't run a bunch of sims myself, but others on here did -- this was mostly resolved in '12 by tweaking some aspects of budgets, contracts, etc.

However, it seemed what was needed was an overhaul of budgets/contracts , and just as importantly, the potential/progression system. The fact sheet mentions changes in these areas, but until we get more info on how these work, it's hard to speculate. I'm sure tabarnes and Knight will (and have?) put it through the ringer at the community event.

PS - Yes, we want both sides of the discussion. And yes, it is frustrating when threads get derailed by discussion/debates/arguments that aren't all that relevant or mostly come down to someone's preference/opinion.

I really hope, that JetBlue park will be among the 7 new ballparks.

All I can say is: Haters gonna hate!

Back in the day a game got released and that's that! No community days, no forums where even the developers are on to interact with us and put out feedback threads. Man we got spoiled.
It will never be perfect with everything YOU want in it. Get over it and enjoy this game for what it is: awesome!

Maybe I'm getting too old...

Re: MLB 13 The Show Fact Sheet

I have a question for the kind Ramone: has the newspaper been pulled from the game and replaced with something else?

Thanks to all the SCEA team for renewing this great game every single year...
