I'll play the virtual '13 season with the current guys, but after that, A-Rod, Jeter, Grandy, Kuroda, Pettitte, Mo, maybe CC & Tex, all gone. No matter how much it hurts.

If I remember correctly, SCEA does not have the rights to those players' likenesses, so we will not see that. Same reason we no longer have the Gold/Silver Era retro teams.

Great list. Was hoping to see CPU controlled teams calling up or sending down players based on performance as one of the 50 improvements. Does this mean this is unchanged for this coming year?

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I'm a little bummed at this list. I'm a big RTTS player, and honestly it doesn't look like they've done that much to enhance the off the field presence. Great, some new looks at fielding a ball, and less commentary (which I'm not a fan of.) Kind of a let down.

I'll still be getting the game, but I was hoping this would be the year that they really took RTTS to the next level.

This just sent me on a hunt for other games coming out on the 5th - I can't believe SimCity is releasing on the same day as the Show. And - worse - Starcraft 2 Heart of the Swarm a week later.

Oh, my poor, poor wallet....and I'm not even a God of War fan (which also releases on the 12th).
