I just really want a very robust front office component of franchise. Accurate player salaries. Trades involving cash, accurate service time stuff, make things easy to see. Are my players save from the rule 5 draft? Contract renewable huh, well I offered him a one year deal is that how it works? Things like this.

Maybe some international signings. Posting fee systems (longshot)?

I hope when they say up****** the franchise mode they mean it.

I think in the future we will see this stuff. The SCEA guys are excited and have a lot of great ideas. Some things will take time and will need to be implemented with a new console, due to some limitations of the current hardware and file structure.

I believe the plan is to roll out updates in waves. This year alone will be exciting with the new CBA rules that need to be implemented. The way free agency works and the arbitration process. There are no longer A and B free agents. Etc.

Hey CD guys, can you guys look over fielding and throwing on the run? Was just playing a game and my batter hits a very slow chopper that was fielded in front of second base, so I go check it out in replay, and lo and behold, there is no transfer animation, the ball teleports into the shortstop's throwing hand. Also, the shuffle between catching foot and throwing foot is too quick IMO, and the fielder gains no ground when this occurs.

There are quite a few of these abrupt transitions in MLB 12. This might have been a side effect of people here asking for more urgency in fielding animations.

Realistic player contracts is the thing that mostly confuses me, it takes paying a guy for one day to read team press releases, MLBTR and Cot's baseball contracts to find out what every MLB player makes in terms of dollars per year total vlaue of contract and years.
Yet they've never done this. So many players, well all of them actually are way underpaid. You can't have realistic team budgets if the contracts aren't realistic.

At least in be past, MLB has not allowed SCEA to put in accurate contracts for the players.

@ Dustin. Makes no sense every other sports franchise does it, NHL,Fifa, Nba 2K. Mor ehtan any other sport MLB baseballa ctually breaks down what they make every year including signing bonus so it's no secret it's public knowldege. MLB site has the contract, Teams have Call Conferences, press conferences where the players, agents, GMs and owners talk about the contract. MLBTR, Cot's and MLBs own site have the information.
It's your opnion or maybe they even told people they couldn't but I don't by it. Even if SCEA couldn't use players contracts, it still makes no sense why they're not even remotely close. Nick Swisher does not make 800 K , A Rod deosn't even make anything close to the 27 million a year he makes in real life.

I get SCEA spends a lot of time on other aspects of the game but they have the code for contracts they just need to put in the right amount, it would take paying someone for a day to do this. It's the same reason they have pitchers repertoire all wrong, under staffed or Jyust lazyness to look it up. You can't calim realsitic team budgets if none of the contracts are right.

I love this game =, but no reason why Team Budgets and Contracts can't be right they have the formula they just need to spend the time. Hire some of the guys on here that edit everything they haven't to make this game more complete. You have guys on here doing player edits and fixing Pitchers Repertoire for free becasue they love this game, SCEA should pay them to do it since most of these edits should have been done by them in the first place. I don't know SCEA budget or anything, maybe they're understaffed, They had the wrong blue for the Jays unifroms and even had Joey Bats in studio.

A lot of spelling mistakes by me.... Lazyness.
I just want to follow up my comment that SCEA does a great job, I just feel certain things like Contracts, Budgets and Players not retiring during the length of their contracts, More reason for Scotuing and player development would make Franchise so much more Realistic.

I see the Budgets and Contracts as easy fixes they just need to up the amount of money.
