Well, I'm on 360, so I can't confirm it for PS3 this year. It's functionally the same principle though and I know it worked on the PS3 the last two years. It's the safest bet to avoid resetting (I do it out of habit now and have never had my stuff get wiped).

I always have the problem on my PS3 with everything being reset. This time I turned the game off after downloading and nothing was reset. I didn't turn auto save off. The key is to NOT back out to the main menu. That issue really pisses me off bc I'm big on teams. That's hours of work reset!

I have this storyline going in universe where the new NWO (Punk, Nash, Big Show, Lesnar) are dominating the roster. Mark Henry had a title shot against Big Show and Show won bc of interference from NWO. So, the next Raw Big Show beat Cena with interference again and then Henry attacked with Lead pipe. This was an awesome and perfect cut scene.

So I decided that now Henry is pissed and is gonna take down the new NWO so, the main event of the next raw was Show and Lesnar vs Henry and a mystery partner. Perfect way to have Rybacks first match in my universe. So I have Rybacks intro last and I'm all pumped for the match and then Ryback skips out and leaves Henry out there alone hahahaha.

Yea when I first played this game I didnt download the DLC and after I got the hang of the game I did download it. Went into Universe and HOURS of work GONE! At the time I didnt even know what happened.

All yesterday at work I was looking at different message boards to see if the DLC was actually dropping and then I came across several threads angry about "resets". Someone helped me out with the work around, I am very thankful! I dont know if I could have redone all that work again.

It seems like this game has cycling bugs or something. I didn't even know about this DLC bug, so I backed out to the main screen and my threads and teams are good. However I have experienced more freezing than I ever have in the past few days. I downloaded a new Jim Neidhart and went to add him to my Hart Foundation stable, but whenever I try to save it, the game freezes. Menu music is still playing plain as day, but the game is frozen. Very frustrating.

Nothing happened to my universe and I backed out to the main menu. Didn't do any auto save trick or anything. No issues at all.
