The so-called "Reach in foul detection" was probably tweaked a little too much! I think you guys should re-do that or put it back to what it was. One jab at the ball and a foul is called. You can pick up three quick fouls before half of the first quarter is over.. Also, have had several moments when the player slamdunks the ball thru the hoop but for whatever reason, play continues as if it were a missed dunk. It looks funny because even the player who dunked the ball is standing there in his celebratory pose as a reaction to making the shot.

Love the game post patch as long as I'm playing NBA today. Association mode needs a patch to fix rotations. Is there a work around to get the roatations to not reset? Don't like the CpU using all 12 guys and subbing out guys with 7 minutes left in the 1st.

You're on point but what I hate and what is so unrealistic is that I can't pressure the PG who brings up the ball.

So I see him coming, I go over and make him slow down. The CPU decides on a play and meanwhile he's still dribbling. I can stand right next to the ball and he doesn't even bother to switch hands or dribble away. They aren't even protecting their ball. Everything seems to be predetermined, like I'm not there.


I tried stealing it once, nothing. I hope 2k will focus on this in the next edition, the PG needs to be cautios enough.

It was a bit overdone though....big men would collapse or act like they got shot if they took a few dribbles lol

which is why I hope 2K takes these msg boards with a grain of salt these days. im not sayin one persons wishlist or gripes is worth more than anothers. but OS isnt what it use to be. some things that get harped on and complained about relentlessly arent near as bad as they are made to be. at times it seems instead of polishing the game with patches efforts are made to address what the forums make out to be major issues. I thank 2K for keeping their "ear to the streets" but they need to keep in mind they KNOW basketball and basketball gaming so do what they do best and know that no one will be completley happy.
Seems to me the myplayer mode needed the most attention, I dont use it so i can understand why guys that like it want it addressed. But offline season mode was a few tweaks away from greatness

I don't like how 3pt % has been toned downed. When I play offline association. I use simulation sliders and play 10 mins. I used to be able to hit 3s with good 3 pt shooters like Terry and go like at least 3/7 now that this has been toned down. I can't hit a open 3 like for instance with Jamison or Meeks hell even Steve Nash. And I'm shooting them when they're not fatigued by the way. I'm going like 2/7 and 1/4 with these guys behind the arc. I guess I have to stop shooting wide open 3s. Smh this is bugging me.

3PT% has not been tuned for online. PS3 here. Kobe Bryant online just marches up to the 3 point line on a fast break and drains it easy. I know it's on Pro, but why does Kobe have to shoot like Ray Allen?

Yes it has, just because Kobe made a few threes doesn't change the fact. I have a 3pt shooting team in Myteam mode and my % has dropped drastically after the patch.

I use to routinely shoot 8-12 with Curry from 3pt andI have a picture of it in the momentum forum....... since the patch I'm always under 50%. Before the patch I could easily hit 3-5 in a row, not anymore.

One guy I played against missed 4 wide open 3s with Durant, I never seen this before the patch. Does the CPU ever miss a open 3.....well we shouldn't either. 2k11 had it right.

3pt shooting was messed up in 2k12 and seems like the patch in 2k13 is very similar to the flawed system in 2k12 that made you shoot 4-10 from 3pt land even if every shot was unguarded and wide open with a perfect release.
