IMO It IS effective. I've seen many shot,layup blocks in my first play after the update. Just give it some time

The terrific bug in Draft in Association mode is not been fixed !!!
The player with the best overall will be choose on 20 / 25th pick...

hehehe! the gameplay has improved after the patch. Still not resolved the other issues like the auto sub rotations of CPU, but the game is still enjoyable IMO

I see most of the complaints are from online/my career/blacktop players.

Somehow these same guys will never understand these modes were never sim, and probably won't be. So if you're going to keep playing quick ranked matches online against randoms, you should really stop complaining now because its going to be the same headache for you all year.

Blacktop and my career? Come on, what do you really expect? It's not sim, and it won't be.

Other than that, the only other complaints I see are about shoes and accessories.

From a basketball gameplay standpoint, I was ecstatic with this game pre patch, and now that the rebounding has been fixed and the CPU ai shoots a lot more mid range shots, I will never stop playing this game.
