I feel the same way. I hate the mention of Connected Careers. Terrible idea.

CONNECTED CAREERS is an awful idea! i know ive posted my 5 already but the 1 im hoping for the most is create a stadium- id love to build new parks for Oakland,Tampa and the Jays (HUGE Jays fan but Roger Centre sucks)

There's lots of great ideas in here that I would love to see implemented. Anyway my top 5 are pretty simple:

1) Import players into existing franchises.
2) Hire/Fire Managers in season.
3) Being able to edit coaches. Worst case scenario allow us to change coaches numbers. It really bothers me to see #29 Sveum come out to replace #29 Samardzija.
4) In season contract extensions
5) The ability to break out of any fielding animation. I still see to many plays that are relatively routine plays where the CPU takes over and makes a nice animation and the runner ends up safe. It's better than how it used to be but it still happens way more than I would like to see.

Like a said mine are pretty simple but would make the game almost perfect in my eyes if added.

Players need to have seperate power ratings for pull, straight away, and opposite field power.

Fielders need to gather themselves instead of throwing on the run off one foot when I barely tap the analog stick forward to catch a grounder.

Pitchers need seperate ratings against righties and lefties to better distinguish a lefty specialist from a lhp that can get righties out as well.

Just some small things this is one of my favorite games to play each year.

I'd like for an option to change your equipment on the road and at home! Some players wear white gloves at home, and grey gloves on the road to match their uniforms.

Robinson Cano and a lot others do this.

Home (White base gloves, blue armbands):


Away (Grey based gloves, grey armbands):

Totally agree... same goes with catcher's gear and shoes from what I've noticed. This would be a good thing for 13.

Yup, those change quite often too. Heck, with this feature, we'd probably soon start realizing what color bats and fielding gloves people use for home/road and their shades/glasses colors. Lol.

Heck, some people do have different colored shades/glasses for home/away also, Vance Worley of the Phillies comes to mind.
