Developer Posts Wrong NBA 2K13 Roster Update, New Roster Arrives Tomorrow

This is the last forum I expected to see such vitriol and venom towards a dev team. Usually its limited to one or two trolls but it seems there's an infestation as of late.

Some of you are just horrible, miserable little ****s aren't you?

We want what we paid for. If you go to a restaurant and order a 12 oz Ribeye cooked well done and you receive a fried chicken leg wouldn't you be pissed or would you just say "oh well, I will take what I get?"

Everyone on here has every right to speak what they expect. We were promised many things from 2K and yet again they are not delivering.

Hopefully they update it, Shawne Williams isn't on the Portland Trail Blazers, Elliot Williams is injured FOR THE YEAR, Sasha Pavolvic is on the 15 man roster (as I recall) and Claver and Freeland should be on the roster.

Honestly when a roster update comes, a Thread called, "Notable Corrections for Roster Update _______" and we as a community help the 2K Insider and tell him our teams correct roster, gear, shoes whatever.

I'm sick of the way 2K works. It's never on time, it's never perfect, they are slackers in the biggest way possible.


Let us at OS make a list, 50 things 2K needs to change. Most things are minor details, they can do 30 of those in 1 week. I want to give them 3 months to change all the other problems, if they fix all of that then I'll stop complaining.

Uh. No. We bought the product understanding that "Live Rosters" is one of the features we paid in advance for. They even hyped that they had a NBA Insider doing the roster updates but the Insider's become a bit of a running joke regarding 2K roster support, even to 2K themselves.

These advertised features actually drive sales, so it's completely upon them to deliver. It doesn't "cost them money", unless you believe that businesses don't owe you quality, promised goods, services, and support once they receive payment.

Now we should probably expect the roster support to be dodgey, as it's been for years, but voicing dissatisfaction about it is completely consistent with keeping 2K accountable for services owed.
