No Crew Mode For NBA 2K13

Bit of a downer going to miss the ability of hooking up a crew and playing against ball hoggin 7'9 PG's. Damn

actually unlike every other mode in any hoop game. crew didnt get old REAL QUICK. thats the beauty of it. its the only mode that doesnt age. sure i was sick of playing vs 7'9 dudes. but at the same token i was so good to the point where me and my guys could beat a crew of 7'9 dudes. not all the time but atleast 50% of the time. in addition once people figured out the terrible 2k servers and how to fool the server so you could actually get a game in seconds vs 30mins+. there were certain time zones where the giants resides and other time zones where mostly normal sized guys resided.

London, Tokyo, and one more was giant central. but there were other solid time zones(arizona), and a few islands, as well as some other spots in asia and europe. that gave you normal sized players and even guys that were still working on their my players(80's and 90's overalls not even 99's.)

Since its so high demand so called they need to make it it's own mode...purchased dlc like the combine was

1. Its a myth that nearly every match was vs cheaters. This was not true. I don't think the PS3 vn was even hackable and I never saw 1 7'9 player and wouldn't have believed it aws possible until I saw a video of it on Youtube
2. The mode is not basically teamup. You get to create your own team with your own logos and jersey style/colours and rosters. Your friends aren't forced into playing a position with a ****ty player slotted in (ie if I was playing team up with 2 friends using Philly one of us would have to be using a lesser player) because we could use our My Players
3.LEADERBOARDS. Seeing your crew as one of the best in the world (no cheating) feels nice

I hate how people act like it was a completely broken useless mode. It was probably second most played after my player.

The cheese only happened because of 2k11's mechanics. Collision detection in the paint wasn't really good so big men that were made to be Dwight Howard clones would dominate in the paint

With 2k12, many thought because the improved animations and stuff were present, that the mode would be more fun to play because many of the things people abused in 11 were gone. Unfortunately the mode was not included

With 2k13, it was the same reaction. The game has better animations and mechanics, so playing crew in 13 would have been much more fun than it was in 11. Once again however, the mode is excluded. The potential for the mode was very high and its very disappointing that 2k didn't spend more time with this

well i'm happy with the results of the poll they put up here. 1 out of 5 people on this site won't be buying the game because of no crew. that's a pretty massive number considering this is mostly a place for offline gamers.

I was a big Crew guy in NBA 2K11 and I played it almost every day. I jumped on 2K and then went into a party with my Crew teammates. When you found a legit, no cheesing game, it was the best mode in 2K11. But, that's the problem. There was hackers everywhere. There was people even hacking the height limit. Not to mention the servers weren't that great. It was a broken game mode and I don't blame 2K Sports for taking their time to bring it back. They have to make sure they can stop the hacking first. Once that's accomplished, Crew will be back.

Yo crew in 2k12 would've been amazing so one can only imagine 2k13 with the addition of crew... 2k12 lasted me a whole year just by anticipating the return next year but 2k13 won't last me a year everything is so generic and the black top is boring 3 on 3 half court to 21 NO! They could've at least did 5 on 5 full court 4 quarters. I believe they didn't add crew because you could buy VC to get your guy to a 99 (Idiots). They need to either upgrade ghe black top or release something of the sort as dlc because this WAS NOT WORTH $60 +

Crew mode may have got the attention of casuals but it sure was fun
