Simple is good if done correct. But with team colors that New Jersey...errr Brooklyn has, having simple looking unis are a bad look IMO. They look like something that someone designed with MS Paint or a design you'd see a D2/3 college have. Considering Brooklyn has someone like Jay-Z you'd think they could have came up with something much, much better than those practice looking jerseys. Just my two cents.
