Still possible though but it forces you to play offball and it's not as easy.

I would add drop step dunks to the Can't do anymore's list.

In the post up press the hopstep button towards the point or vertical towards the paint, hold the Turbo button, and flick the R-stick up.

Re: NBA 2K13 Advanced Controls

For people struggling with the controls, here is my advice. When I first got the game all I did was go directly into practice mode with Kobe, pull up the controls list from this site on my computer, and learn EVERYTHING. Break it down into sections (dribbling, shooting, layups etc) and once you master each section move onto the next one. After about 2 days I have learned just about everything and feel pretty comfortable with the controls.

You really need to just calm down, take a day or two to learn them, and then go back to your games. You can ALWAYS play your Association or Exhibition modes, they will not move I promise, however if you decide not to learn the new controls you are basically not getting the full potential out of the game.

There are a bunch of little things to be learned also like when to break out of a size up and stuff. It was fun for me to learn all the little things and now I cant wait to apply them in game.

BTW DEFINITELY change the dribble stick to absolute, it is much easier to execute things.

For those who like absolute, are y'all playin on the 2k camera? I play on broadcast & I'm already used to camera relative and I perform moves just fine. I'll try absolute and see if I like it

Re: NBA 2K13 Advanced Controls

I tryed absolute but I prefer relative. I mean it's the way I play sports game like PES, FIFA and NBA 2K games since like 15 years. Absolute doesn't make sense to my brain.

One thing, is that possible that double shimmys are now based on tendencies just like bank shots? I seem to do them randomly when I'am only tryeing to do simple shimmy.
