My Career,

Do your teammates FINALLY play true to life? Are they an aid to you or a hindrance (still dumb)?

Uhh that's what a SF is.

Anyway, I don't think he'll be the star he was thought to be coming out of HS, but I think he'll be a solid role player playing alongside Curry and Thompson.

i thought about getting the dynasty edition for a little while, but ultimately i assumed it wasnt worth it. You get the all-star bonus stuff just for preordering the regular game, the skull candy headphones are probably no better than stock headphones with a little more oomph to the bass (but probably still really muddy).

The basketball probably wont be worth too much, since there really wasnt some limit to how many dynasty editions would be made. I wouldnt be surprised if at some point 2k just started selling the basketball in itself. Even more to the point, the basketballs are quite obviously the same type you win at like Great America. Meaning its one of those cheap balls that have a very thin layer of rubber on them, so the only way you can get a good firm feel of the ball is to pump it with tons of air, at which point it becomes needlessly bouncy. And the grips on those types usually erode after a day or two of good use. You can get a similar ball (albeit lacking the 2k design) for like 5 bucks at your local wal-mart.

The skin was probably the most intriguing of the additions, basically being made out of similar material as the basketball, so it would probably feel nice on a controller...but was it just me or was that only a one sided skin (for the top half of the controller) if thats true than that becomes a bit underwhelming as well.

Id much rather just preorder the game and get the only worthwhile addition, the all-star package...the rest of it is just cheap fodder imho.

Playing My career now. I am a scoring point guard. I got drafted 11th to the Blazers and currently 6th man after matthew lillard. I would say they play pretty true to life. Lamarcus Aldridge bangs hard in the post when I pass him the ball. Same with JJ hickson when playing the post they usually attempt shots and make them. My problem is defense and offensive rebounding. Ive caught them many of times just watching the ball and not jumping. I would be the only one going for the boards, and twice I was boxed out by my town teammates. I play basketball so I know this sometimes happens, but did not expect it within the game. My first game was against the lakers and Kobe killed us. I mean he had 10 boards 28 points and like 12 assists. I constantly noticed them letting him do what he wanted to. I am playing on all-star so maybe thats why. So offensively they made it easier for us guards to get assists, but defensively the AI is horrible imo.. Coolm stuff tho after my 5th game I was offered a endorsement with Nike or Jordan. I chose Nike because they have Pro Foams.. lol...
