What? I'm confused so they own the game, but they can't re-use it, even though they own it?

Right. Because they got plenty of money in order to get over this. But this leaves the question why a company, that rich and wealthy, remains unable to produce one single game in two years. Other smaller or poorer companies have good reason to fail here and there. But in the case of EA it's just inexplicable and also inexcusable...

Re: NBA Live 13 Canceled

Thank goodness for the "other guys."

Do you really think that without competition, EA still would have cancelled their NBA game the last two years?

EA said it themselves that they are bnring in more people to revamp the series to hit the ground running. They threw that number out there. Had they continued with the regular staff, I think it would have been a much better produce. A small team, 2-3 years would have gave them live 13..vs hiring 70 people and starting in 2012 to create live 13..
Well, I agree with some of your finer points and questions. But a 70 member team can get it done. You just have to know how to manage it. That's all I'm saying.

Your point about no direction and experience is 100% valid.
