All i can do is laugh. This is the same thing they said for Elite 11. How much time do you need off? Just take 5 years and remake the whole thing. I don't really play much Live (haven't owned Live since 2005 and played Live 10 a handful of times) but I jus hope the lack of competition doesn't ruin the "other" and far superior game...

Agree 100%.

We're down to 1. I purchased two version of PES this year, PC and PS3. I need them to stay in this game. It's driving both games forward. Soccer is the only remaining sport where true innovation is being made and the games are being pushed forward. And that's the result of comeptition.

As much as I'm an NbA 2k fan, we need EA to come on strong. Though I disapprove of EA's monopolistic practices, this is one area where I'm routing for them.

They're losing money by not releasing the game. What would be smart is to fire whoever is managing the series. Two years and two cancelled games, it's ridicules.

So many fanboys in this thread. How is this a good thing like alot of you are making it out to be ? Your laughing like this is ok. This is bad for the consumer we now have less options. And please stop with this EA monopolized the NFL license thing, the NFL has gone exclusive in pretty much everything they do now. That was their doing. And how you forget 2K went exclusive on the 360 for baseball games and that game was utter trash and is now finished. I love 2K just as much as the next person but im really disappointed to hear this news.

The biggest shame in this is that they hold rights to ESPN, which I would love to be in 2ks possession. Maybe someday. Till then ESPN NBA authenticity is still lost in incompetence.
