The controls aren't awful, just like anything new to you, you have to learn how to do them.. stop crying!!

I agree with the statement that the dribble stick feels a bit arcade-y. It's disappointing that the demo is so bare as usual. I don't get why 2k always does that.. a good demo would lead to more casual gamers more interested in the game, increase in sales, but it's always wack. Not being able to use the old controls for the demo was a stupid thing not to have too. And I know it's just the demo but I'm not liking the hopstep at all. I had kind of mastered doing hopsteps in 2k12, frustrated a lot of people. Now it's too easy just one button and instant, it probably won't be as bad as 2k11 cheese but I'd of rather they kept that out.

Also another thing as I greatly expected I couldn't get into any online games on PS3 when I tried. I knew right away when they announced the online in twitter it wouldn't work and yes it didn't. We can assume the online for 2k13 will be awful once again the first month. I remember last year I couldn't play close friends in simple online VS games the first few months.. that **** along with the removal of crew has me think: EA just buy 2k out already. **** it.

If its that easy to break chalmers off with westbrook, iverson is going to be ridiculous lol.

"Introducing thee control stick...."

How many times have you heard that today?

I'm really enjoying this game. My first quick match was a rage quit. Just takes a long time to get in.

But then if they make it hard for people to drive people will say it's canned animations. Personally I'm not worried since the game is on Pro Casual.

Can't seem to stay in front of my man, seems like if the ball handler is doing enough dribbling moves he'll eventually get by you, anyone has some tips on staying in front of your man like in 2K11? Or is that even possible?

The demo didn't wow me, but I definitely saw enough improvements in the gameplay to warrant a purchase and make me give 2K12 to charity or something. I think getting used to the new controls is what's hurting my immersion right now. I find myself using the shot button instead of the shot stick. Something about pulling L2 to shoot just doesn't come naturally to me. Then again, neither does right stick dribbling. When the devs said it would take a few games to get used to it, were they referring to full games? LOL
