i was concerned about cheesing also. but you bring up a really good point that didnt even cross my mind

"like playing the stock market".....uh, ok...huh huh huh......i wish 2k would concentrate on perfecting VIP and implementing it into association far more than this.....no other sports game has the ability to create your own CPU A.I, , and A.I. that actually evolves.Creating seperate VIP's for different teams has been the most fun I have ever had in sports videogaming the last 2 years with this game and it is puzzling to me that 2k does not push this feature forward more

I've always wanted a way to play quick online tournaments and this will be nice to get into every 2 weeks or so and come up with different teams. Given all the possibilities I'll bet the cheese people come up with in this mode will be something we've never seen before. Going up against a team of 12 HOF Small Fowards with maxed sig skills will be crazy. So much more intriguing than playing a regular ranked game against the stacked Heat or the Lakers. That's old cheese. Bring on the new cheese.

yeah, i never liked crew tbh, I just wanted a mode to keep a team together with real NBA players sort of like club mode in NBA Live 09 or even 10. The ranked team- up sucks, imo. But I hated crew because of all the cheesers that force you to cheese with them. That's why I don't understand why people liked crew so much it was just a hack fest.
