I turned marking down to 0 for me and the CPU and at first it looked like they kept their shape better and defended better in the box. Then I played as Milan vs. Juve and I won 6-0 on Pro The thing I noticed is that with it at 0 while they give you less space in the box there it a lot more space avaialable until you get to about the 18 because they don't close you down as much. I had one play in the game where Robinho picked up the ball in his own half and raced to the 18 before playing a through ball which I scored on. Nobody really tried to close him down before he got near the 18 so that is a concern for me.

I think the problem is you're playing on Pro. The lower difficulty the more space there is between the dribbler and defenders and the easier it is to break through.

I thought about that I will try it on World Class and see how it goes.

If you like WC, bump it up to Legendary. There's isn't a big difference and to me and some of OSers Legendary played less cheap than WC.

Legendary all the way. There is almost no point in considering anything else IMO, although I guess an argument can be made for WC.

This may be a weird/small critique, but I really do not like the bright/cartoony colors. It does not go well with the overall slightly-better-than-PS2 level graphics of the game. FIFA 12 had it perfect. FIFA 13 pretty much shoves the bad player body/faces in your face with these bright colors.

This, and the out of whack offense/defense balance, is the only thing they've taken a backstep on.

Same here I have never been a fan of FIFA's graphics honestly. I know a lot of people praise it but the player models have always been a little goofy to me, with their large hands and feet while almost everyone having the same build. Also those names and numbers on the back of the look overly huge. All of those things pull me out of the lovely animations FIFA have. But not to leave on a bad note, I will say the textures and pitch always look top notch.

Here's the video showing the marking at either 0 or 100. It was set on legendary, slow speed, all sliders default except for the marking. One game was at 0 and one game was at 100. Oh and it's cpu vs cpu. I didn't label which one was 0 or 100, as per Qb's request. Game #2 starts at 3:38

It's an unlisted video that I just made for us here. I'll probably delete it from my channel in a few days.
