Do you watch basketball? Amare actually has the ability to play center because he is strong enough. This will be Bosh's first year playing center, and I can pretty much guarantee, that he will get dominated. No way will he be able to hang with guys like Howard and Bynum down low. He's too weak. He gets disrespected, because he is extremely overrated.

Sure he has a nice jumpshot and he can rebound okay, but what else can he do? He's not that good of a defender, he's not that great of a ball handler, he's not an enforcer down low (meaning people aren't scared to take it to the rim on him). So what in this world makes you believe he is better than guys like Pau, Amare, Love, etc.?

Re: Many More NBA 2K13 Player Ratings Revealed - Knicks, Lakers, Bulls, Heat and More

It seems like everyone forgot 2 years ago Amare carried the knicks for almost the whole season. He made raymond felton look like an all star caliber point gaurd. He played most of last year with a serious back injury but he didnt tell anyone because he didnt want to get away from the game. Chris bosh is a great player, but hes not close to Amares level offensively. Nowadays Chris is a mid range shooter, bearly see him on the post anymore.

Pau is leagues ahead of Chris on the post and is a much better passer.

This year Amare and Javale were seen working out with The DREAM on they're post game.

Amares never been a great rebounder but last year his dropped under Chris because Tyson was grabbing all the boards who is a Center. No excuse Chris should have less than 8 rebounds a game on a team with no dominant center.

I remember Stat having a 20,10 game against the heat in a playoff game after hurting his hand.

I also remember Amare having a couple game saving blocks 2 years ago, one against Lebron and one agaisnt Capt. Jack. I gotta admit amare is a below average 1 on 1 defender but he does get alot of help defense blocks.

So is Chris Bosh underatted. I dont think so. Maybe i say this because im a knicks fan, but everything I just stated are facts.

Agree with most of this. Being a knick fan i witnessed Amare's sub par year. And with coming in the season over weight and too muscular he didnt have the same bounce he did in 2010. Everyone acts like healthy Amare is what we saw last year. DO people not remember when melo and stat were destroying the celtics in game 1 of 2011(though they didn't win) playoffs? WIth the continued help of Hakeem's post moves(says he will work with all of the knicks and keep watch of stoudemire throughout the year) and him losing weight i predict by the end of the season no one will argue whether Bosh is better than Amare anymore.

BTW: Amare has always bounced back from injuries pretty well. And he has promised better than 21 points and 9 rebounds this year. While i don't believe this. if he does even avg 21 and 9, there will be no reason to compare bosh to amare anymore

Yeah Lebrons rebounding should be slightly better than Melo's. I don't know this for certain but I think the vertical may play a role here. So maybe you don't have to give Lebron the same rebounding number as Melo Haha or it could be a mistake. You would have to see how it all works on games and association to see of it makes a difference. Look up Melo's rebound rate last year 10.6 vs. Lebron 12.6. Lebron is better but not that much better. If he plays more Pf his stats will be like the playoffs which were increased because of no bosh

No way should Lin be a 77. This dude played a handful of games, and he has all-star treatment. Trash

77 is not an all-star. Given his impact last year, it seems a safe rating for him. If he goes Linsanity again, 77 is actually too low. Seems about right at this point, though.

Re: Many More NBA 2K13 Player Ratings Revealed - Knicks, Lakers, Bulls, Heat and More

2K tweeted 6 more ratings:

Zach Randolph - 84
Paul Pierce - 83
Caron Butler - 81
Ray Allen - 80
Devin Harris - 77
Marshon Brooks - 73

These actually seem pretty good for a change. Glad to see Allen is at 80 now (instead of the 79 he was at in the leaked screen shots). Only one here I could really see fault in would be Caron Butler, as he had a down year and I'm not really sure he deserves an 81. Maybe an 80 would be more accurate. Overall, though, these seem to be the most accurate revealed ratings so far.

What the? Dwight has higher ratings than Kobe? Kobe did great last season than D Wade. I think Kobe ratings must be 94 again and Dwight will also be 94. Kevin Durant has better performance than Dwight last season but Durant has lower ratings than Dwight. I think the ratings of Dwight must be 94 or 93. Dwight is overrated.
