Do they teach sentence structure at A&M?......................just messing with you.

to your point first, it spawned from those who take A&M to a whole different level... being aggy about it, telling everyone/anyone who will listen that they are the greatest team. that if you are on the outside you don't know and if you are on the inside you can't explain it. calling us "our friends to the north", tsips, tu, klanhorn, longwhorn etc... claiming that A&M has won 3 National Championships. playing army dress up and trying to attack a SMU cheerleader with their saber. overall, not every Aggie is an aggy but the term fits as now those in the SEC and in the national media are starting to see. posting billboards in Austin, Dallas and Ft.Worth claiming that "this is SEC country"... claiming that every fan of every other school is a T-shirt fan and that Aggieland has absolutely 0 fans that were never students at A&M.

I grew up with half my family(the half from south texas small towns) going to A&M and constantly beating me over the head with why A&M was/is 100x better than Texas, there were some of us that went to Texas(mostly those of us that grew up in Dallas, Houston and Austin) and most of us didn't really give 2cents about A&M but since then the term Aggy has become more prevalent so it fits.

case and point^^^ notice that Texas got 3 typical insults while Baylor and Tech got their standards. I'm actually surprised the Klanhorn tag wasn't thrown out there.

Aggy is how Aggies act, they act like they are Alabama, USC and Notre Dame combined and that they singlehandedly won WWII. they trademark every phrase they can think of, "12th man", "Whoop", "12th mania", TAMU, Aggie, Aggies, Aggieland, The Twelfth Man, Wrecking Crew, Gig'em Aggies, Texas Aggie Bonfire, Maroon Out... then if you dare remind them that their best season in the last 60 years was also right in the middle of the their biggest cheating days which still wasn't a top 5 finish, they will take random snippets of their 37-76-5 losing record against Texas and bash you into submission about how that years ending in 6s they are undefeated against Texas...

None of this really has anything to do with Free and Paid Uniforms. Maybe we will hear more news on that soon with the recent update

ah, cool thought they were Adidas uniforms... even then I actually like the Northwesterns throw back look. the Longhorns had a uniform like that back in the 19teens.

yeah wasn't sure about the post. I getcha though, it is frustrating to have the option of Nike shoes or "generic" shoes... same goes for the rest of the equipment.

Texas A&M started as an agricultural school and hence the term Aggie
